Parts and Wholes

Can you tell what something is from just a piece? 🧩 A picture has a round missing spot. Choose the perfect match from four pieces below—the pattern must continue. 🔍 Next, see a piece up close and guess the picture from its colors and patterns. ✂️ Finally, match the halves: choose the right side that continues the left, then place it to see if it fits. Play with pictures of a cat, bus, tree, and duck. There’s no text, so children can play independently even before they can read, and the buttons are extra large for little hands. This app was made with code too · Remix it and add your child’s photos!

About this app

Part and Whole is a preschool visual puzzle game with three activities: finding the missing piece in a picture, identifying a picture from a close-up section, and completing a picture by choosing the matching right half. Children use colors, patterns, spatial relationships, and visual continuity to solve picture puzzles featuring images such as a cat, bus, tree, and duck. The interface uses large buttons, minimal text, progress indicators, reset and next controls, and optional sound feedback for accessible independent play.
