About this app

Patterns and Probability is an elementary math learning app with two interactive sections. Children build repeating color units of two, three, or four colors and predict the next color, then toss a virtual coin to compare heads and tails and observe how the heads proportion moves toward one half as the number of tosses increases.

Use cases

  • Elementary students practicing repeating patterns
  • Teachers introducing pattern rules and sequence prediction
  • Learners exploring chance through virtual coin tosses
  • Parents looking for a short interactive math activity

Features

  • Create repeating color units by tapping colors
  • Display shapes that follow the selected pattern
  • Predict the next color with multiple-choice answers
  • Toss a virtual coin and see heads or tails
  • Track heads and tails with running counts and toss history
  • Complete missions involving 4, 10, 30, or 60 attempts
