About this app

3D Building Blocks is an interactive elementary math activity for stacking cubes on a 3Γ—3 floor plan and exploring the resulting solid. Build shapes by tapping floor squares, then inspect them from the top, front, and side while tracking stack heights and the total number of cubes. Four counting challenges ask learners to determine how many cubes are present, including blocks hidden behind visible ones.

Use cases

  • Elementary students practicing spatial visualization
  • Teachers introducing top, front, and side views of solids
  • Learners exploring how height and arrangement affect a 3D shape
  • Students practicing addition by summing stack heights
  • Families looking for a hands-on math game about cubes

Features

  • Tap floor squares to cycle stack heights from 0 to 4
  • Interactive 3D display of the constructed cube arrangement
  • Top, front, and side view grids showing the shape from three directions
  • Live total cube count and tallest-stack height
  • Four guided building missions with reset and next controls
  • Four cube-counting quizzes with adjustable guesses and answer feedback
