Collabby for Teachers
You describe the activity. Your class plays it together.
Type one sentence — a dictation game, a times-table duel, a quiz for tomorrow's lesson — and Collabby builds a small web app your students can open on any device. No installs, no student passwords.
- “Make a two-player times-table duel for my 3rd graders”
- “A dictation game that reads words aloud and checks spelling”
- “A real-time quiz where the whole class answers on their phones”

Student sign-in without passwords
Students join with a one-time email code. No passwords to forget, no social logins. Ask for "separate records per student" when you build, and the app keeps each student's progress apart.
Collections as course packs
Group the apps for a unit into one collection and share a single link — your class materials, organized like a textbook.
Play together, live
Apps can be multiplayer out of the box — two students at two desks, same game, real time. Practice becomes something they ask to do.
Built with minors in mind
Classrooms mean under-18 users, so these guardrails are part of the product — not an add-on:
Age gate & guardian consent
Sign-up asks for date of birth, and minor accounts require guardian consent before key features open.
Publish screening & moderation
Publicly shared apps go through automated screening focused on security risks (phishing, credential leaks), and we operate human review and takedown flows for anything flagged.
Reporting channel
You can reach us any time through the help center to report an app. Reports go straight to the operator.
Safe-use guidance
Our help center explains, in plain language, what students can do and what data an app can see.
Free to start
Build and share your first classroom apps on the free plan. If it earns a place in your class, plans start small.
