The One Left Over Decides

🍋 What are acids and bases? When they dissolve in water, acids release H⁺ and bases release OH⁻. The fun part: each particle can release a different number—make more ions with fewer particles! 🎨 Indicators show clues with color. But phenolphthalein is colorless in both acidic and neutral solutions, so it can’t tell them apart. Add all three indicators to see what each one can—and can’t—tell you. ⚗️ Finally, neutralization: H⁺ and OH⁻ pair up one-to-one to make water, and whichever is left over decides the properties. Can you add more acid and still make it neutral? Tap and find out. This app was made with code too · Remix it and add a pH scale!
