Additive Color Mixing
In Overlapping Light, switch on red, green, and blue light one at a time — red plus green makes yellow, and all three together make white, the opposite of paint, which gets darker the more colors you mix. In Object Color, see that a red apple reflects only red light and absorbs the rest, then swap in a green leaf and watch it reflect only green instead. In Changing the Light, white paper simply takes on whatever color of light shines on it, but put that same red apple under green light and it turns black — there's no red light left for it to reflect. An object's color isn't fixed in the object itself — it depends on which light arrives and how it bounces back.
